Super Abari Game Bar
About This Spot
Stepping into Super Abari Game Bar feels like slipping into a quietly vibrant neighborhood retreat where nostalgia and community pulse gently in sync. Tucked away on Seigle Avenue, this spot invites both the curious and the committed to linger awhile—movement slows, conversations find easy rhythms, and the hum of arcade machines blends seamlessly with the murmur of friendly banter.
The atmosphere balances playfulness with warmth, offering a relaxed backdrop where the decades-spanning allure of pinball and classic arcade games meets the crisp clink of craft cocktails and local brews. Here, the bar spills over with thoughtful drinks—from subtly spiced cocktails to well-curated draft beers—and each sip feels like it could be the perfect companion for a round on the Sega classics or the latest rhythm game sensation.
More than just a bar or an arcade, Super Abari cultivates a sense of shared experience. Players are as diverse as the game selection—ranging from familiar retro favorites to unexpected gems that spark discovery. The space itself is welcoming and light, with plenty of room to roam between machines without ever feeling crowded, an inviting quality that encourages spontaneous connections and friendly matches, sometimes lasting for hours.
Whether you arrive solo, in search of a quiet corner to unwind with a white wine and an IPA, or come with a group eager to challenge one another in Smash Bros or test reflexes on Star Wars pinball, the vibe remains grounded and approachable. The bartenders’ easy smile and readiness to help add a personal touch that subtly shapes the experience into something more memorable than just a night out.
During the day, the bar embraces a slightly different pace, welcoming families and first-timers to explore the lineup of games and the occasional food truck parked just outside, making for a laid-back mix of youthful energy and relaxed enjoyment. When the sun dips, the crowd often shifts to those who appreciate the quiet thrill of a good beat, a well-made cocktail, and the unmistakable charm of games that have endured time yet never lost their sense of wonder.
In essence, Super Abari is a place that doesn't shout but gently invites you in—to press start, find your rhythm, and share a few good moments over games, drinks, and conversation.

I had a really great time here! Lots of games I hadn’t played before. Some highlights for me were Taiko no Tatsujin, Gundam Extreme Vs, Quick & Crash, and Perfect Pour.

My first time at Super Abari and it felt like a dream. A ton of classic arcade games including 3rd Strike, Spider-Man, and TMNT Turtles in Time. Also has rhythm games like Jubeat and Taiko no Tatsujin. Bartenders were very friendly and helpful. One machine ate my tokens and they gave them back. I enjoyed playing Smash Bros with people. The community seems super chill and there's plenty of space in the venue. I look forward to coming back!

Stopped in to waste some time while I was in Charlotte and ended up spending 2 hours here playing the arcades!! Everything was so clean and well kept. There was one rhythm game that had a weird button but everything else was in great condition. Awesome selection and a great place to hang out!! My favorite was Godzilla pinball and groove coaster.

Can't believe I had never been here before. This place is really cool even if you are not much of a gamer, it has a lot if nostalgia from games in the past. Lot's of games to choose from, kid friendly with adults (cause it is a bar too) I think during the daytime only. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Plenty of parking and across the street parking. Sometimes food trucks are there, but a couple of restaurants are within walking distance.

Pinball and retro video games, aplenty they have. Star Wars, Labyrinth, River Wild—ah, the Force flows through these machines! A Jedi's reflexes tested they shall be. Two tokens, the cost of pinball is. Fifty cents it equals. But patience, a Jedi must have, for video games—just twenty-five cents they require (at least the games I played). A deal most wise! For the locals, an Insider’s Club exists. Regular play, a privilege it grants. Strong in commitment, these players must be. Young Padawans, welcome they are—between 12 PM and 6 PM on weekends, they may train. But guidance, a parent or guardian must provide, lest the Dark Side of arcade mischief consume them. After hours, the ways of the 21+ crowd, this place follows. Strong drinks and stronger competition, a true test of skill and endurance, it becomes. Much fun, this place brings. Visit, you must!

There was so much energy on Halloween night. No one was a stranger, never have I had a better experience here then that night. Will definitely be going back, Super Awesome

The atmosphere is always relaxed here. There are a ton of pinball machines and the prices are very reasonable. The bartenders are friendly and quick. There is a side patio toward the back left of the building with views of the city, too.
